Wood Stain Finishes/Treatment
Varnish/Lacquer
Satin
Definitely our most popular Wood Stain range, these varnish options provide a Satin finish (None-Glossy) and leaves a lovely warmth to the grain while leaving a clear, smooth and professional finish.
Great for the family home as very little maintenance is required while spills/knocks are easily cleanable.
Osmo Wood Oil
Perhaps our most intense colour range, here we have Osmo Wood Oils which is available on all indoor furniture. Perfect for making a statement, this oil really makes wood grain pop! This is a satin finish and WILL require some maintenance over its lifetime.
Depending on usage, we typically advise oil finishes to be re-treated annually which is applying extra product then wiping with a soft cloth, this isn't essential although will keep the furniture looking it's best.
Wood Wax
By far the most characterful finish, wax is perfect for those who have a keen eye for detail. Extremely characterful, wax merges into the wood grain and highlights all the wonderful characteristics of natural solid wood and leaving a Matt finish.
A wax finish is a real labour of love, this is something that will need treatment often, especially on the pieces which are used more such as dining/coffee tables. Treatment likely needing multiple times a year.
